THETA TAU THETA SORORITY
Theta Tau Theta (OTO) Sorority is a non-profit women’s organization that sponsors Bearskin Meadow Camp which is managed by the Diabetic Youth Foundation (DYF), a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization located in Concord, California and incorporated in 1951 to support BMC.
Theta Tau Theta was organized in 1922 and for the past 60 years has been affiliated with the DYF who is the benefactor of OTO’s fundraising efforts. Theta Tau Theta supports the DYF with paid sponsorships for campers to attend camp and miscellaneous operating expenses specifically for Bearskin Meadow Camp. The camp is located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest outside of Fresno, CA. Every year OTO sponsors children and their families throughout California to attend either a kids camp, teen camp or family camp. At camp the children and their families are taught that they are not alone and that they can manage their diabetes and live normal and productive lives. The chapters of OTO sponsor various fund raising events throughout the year. Chapters hold two business meetings per month, usually one business and one social. This is a great way to meet and make new friends, have fun and contribute to a very worthwhile organization.
Theta Tau Theta Sorority is always looking for new members to pledge and join our Sorority. Women seeking to find a social organization to be a part of, as well as a great charity to support, should contact the respective chapters as listed to the right.
